Talks are an opportunity for you to learn more about Transcendental Meditation before deciding if it’s for you. I explain where TM came from, an overview of how TM is taught and the mechanics of the practice, and some of the many benefits you can get from regular practice.
Upcoming dates are as follow - if you are unable to attend these times please get in touch and we can arrange a suitable appointment:
Wednesday 8th May - 7.30pm to 8.30pm
Saturday 11th May 4.00pm to 5.00pm
Courses take place over 4 sessions at my house in Moseley and are structured in the traditional way. You can be sure that if you learn TM with me you will be learning the same technique as someone who learned in the 1960’s when it arrived in the West:
1 to 1 personal instruction for one hour on a Saturday when you learn the technique of Transcendental Meditation and receive your mantra or sound which you can then practice on your own at home.
This is followed by 3 x 2 hour group meetings where the process is fine tuned and you get a clearer, more practical understanding of Transcendental Meditation which equips you to meditate comfortably and confidently in you’re everyday life.
The group meetings are held the following day, Sunday at 10.30 am and 2.30 pm (lunch and walk provided) plus Monday at 6.30 pm. They are informal, enjoyable and you don’t have to speak unless you want too.
After learning you will receive on going support and you can:
Attend future group courses to refresh your knowledge for free
Attend group meditations and meditator meetings to enrich your knowledge for free
Join weekend retreats to deepen you meditation experience
Participate in day long mini retreats to meet other meditators
